Holding a Painting

We do offer flexible payment plans help you claim whatever piece moves you. Once a deposit is recieved, we mark the painting sold, then when we receive the total, you get the art!

Purchasing from the site with your CC should be smooth sailing. If you need assistance or an alternative method of payment, please reach out and we will try to accomadate as best as we can.

Shipping
​
Cost is built into the price of my paintings. Clothing, accessories, furniture, etc will have a shipping itemized at check out. Upon purchase, your order will be sent out with USPS

Framing
​
My signature presentation options are "scrolled" and "stretched". To me, these finishing options fully embrace the material. I offer my work "rolled", which allows for you to mount and/or frame the piece yourself, and sometimes flat (on wood), or framed. See descriptions and pictures below.
Rolled - means I roll the piece, with a sheet of butcher paper for protection, and ship it to you in a light-weight repurposed cardboard tube. You will have the flexibility to mount the piece however you wish.

Scrolled - means you receive a repurposed cardboard tube, but it also comes with two upcycled rods attached to the piece so that you get to unroll it like a scroll, and hang it with a screw on either side.
​
Stretched - means I shape the paper around a wooden frame for the feeling of a mounted canvas.
No matter which of the three you choose, my work is always two layers of paper thick and coated in a layer of varnish for durability.

Packaging
​
Packing materials maintain the same approach to consumption as the art itself. We are not buying new boxes, but rather reshaping discarded cardboard to meet the needs of the shipped item.

Paintings
​
The paintings are personal, so any questions regarding them please reach out to me directly to discuss. I’m more than happy to start a conversation around them.
You can always find a selection of original paintings at in person events, I will usually post on my instagram which ones I’m bringing that will be available for purchase.

Furniture
​
I insist on delivering large furniture myself. At this time, I can order accept local orders for tables. Shipping items like this will require more communication and additional charges. Lead times can me as much as 1-2 months depending on the nature of the requested piece,

Apparel
I have listed all the appropriate sizing in the descriptions of each item. Please double check before purchasing. You can DM @ianglues or email ian@artbayarea.com with questions.
Every item is hand printed, one by one. There will be variations in print. I aim for perfection but in reality faint differences in print results are to be expected. I have learned to embrace it as character!
All clothing is a thrifted item of clothing. It will have small defects, fading, or worn in elements. I have carefully selected pieces in good condition but please do not ever expect brand new. This is the upcycle movement!
