A few sheets of each color on newspapered corners on a stock canvas of a renaissance painting.
I was set on a tie dye design.This piece was that attempt, combined with an experiment to surround the color with gray.The last cutout added was the red leaves. 
 
There is a territorial fight happening where the color ends and the newsprint begins. Color is winning, but its strength is not the same as when it goes edge to edge.
